"I have just attended a two day workshop with Tim Gratton which I would love to recommend to each and everyone.
What a wonderful interactive workshop we had, Tim gives everything, no secrets with him. All the tricks of the trade are eagerly shared and business building, pricing, photography, model care and helpful hints on getting the best were highlights of the class.
First day is mainly hands on and trying out techniques, paints and inspiration by watching a dvd and learning so much it was exceptional, the second day we painted our model and they were photographed. Leanne King was the photographer and her partner owns the night club Shotz where the workshop was held. Leanne, showed us the finer points in photographing and getting the best from your model, I highly recommend her as a photographer, she is a dedicated artist.
I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to take a workshop with Tim, as you may all know he was the first body painter in Australia and also has won many awards, and works with teams, giving the best in advertising with bodies of Art.
Tim’s classes are very affordable and a great investment in your business."

"In August this year, i participated in Tim Gratton's Body Painting workshop. I found out about it when i emailed Tim and Suzie, in hope that Tim would answer questions to a questionairre I had on body painting for a year 12 assignment. I found Tim very helpful . In the interview he informed me of his workshop and that i should come along. I was quite apprehensive attending as i was younger than the other students and had no experience in body painting but i was felt welcome by both Tim and Suzie right away. I discovered so much about body painting and found out that even someone like myself with no experience in the makeup industry and little artistic experience in general could still easily create a body of work!
I was only planning on attending the workshop on the first day but as i had such a great time, I was enticed to go back the second day. I found that Tim's creativity and experience very benefitial to helping me with my body painting. So much so, that Tim convinced me to enter the South Australian Body Painting Championships. I was very nervous to enter as i am only 17 years old and have not ever created or attempted to create a work of body art. After much persuasion I entered the championships and was surprised to achieve third prize! The only experience of body painting I have had was from Tim's workshop so this goes to show how muchI learnt and how much I acheived in the 2 day workshop. Tim and Suzie were not only teachers but they were friends and I would reccomend the Body painting workshop to anyone who is interested in the artform!"

"Tim Gratton's bodypainting workshop changed a lot of my thinking and attitudes in regard to body painting. He comes to it from the perspective of a large work canvas painter, as opposed to our tiny facial canvases and the difference in approach is massive.Tim uses a variety of paint products, not just his own brand and shows you how to use them all to achieve differing results. I know I sound like he's paid me (he hasn't, YET....) but I loved it."

"Just wanted to thank you so much for such a great two days at your Adelaide workshop, it wasn't just informative but also fun with such a relaxed feel to it . I have learnt so much and also met some fantastic people who share the same passion as myself and look forward to putting all your information into lots of practice. So thanks again, see you again sometime."

"I found the workshop very informative, fun and hands on productive. As I am new to the world of Body art I had a fantastic time experimenting with all the wacky and wonderful products you can paint, splash, spray and stick to the body. For me this was an introduction to this art form that I thoroughly enjoyed. I definitely recommend the course to anyone out there who wants to have a lot of fun learning from a great teacher and working with very creative artists and inspiring models."

Even though I wasn't able to attend the 2nd day, I believe the time I spent with Tim was a lot of fun and an absolute "Eye Opener".
I know in any profession we can tend to get comfortable and stay with what we know. Tim introduced a fusion of Products "not just his own" which impressed me, and demonstrated fresh, bizarre yet when you broke it down ridiculously logical approaches to applying mediums that I most likely would never have considered. I thank Tim for sharing his insight, experience and his honesty in his work. Truly a worthwhile experience. I'm very much looking forward to incorporating what I learnt with my own style.
I would have loved to have done the 2nd day, I've seen some of the images of the Girls' work and I think they look amazing. I've spoken to most of them since then and they are enthusiastic and empowered by the workshops.

Wow!! The "Tim Gratton Workshop"... what can I say??... His sense of humour, combined with the showing us the tricks of the trade, made it such an enjoyable couple of days.
Simple, yet constructive. I managed to paint a full body in 2 hours, when normally I would take up to 3 hrs. Thank you Tim for sharing your knowledge and your amazing journey. Truly inspiring and highly recommended.

"Tim Gratton's rural art workshops provide a positive, supportive and creative space that encourages artists of all levels to flourish. Just as important is the opportunity they provide for like-minded people from the city and the countryside to share their love of art and make new friends. Ably supported by his wife Suzie, Tim provides a unique learning and social experience that is both valued and highly recommended"

"I have had the pleasure of attending Tim Gratton's art workshops and not only enjoyed the inspiring stay in the countryside but also felt that I made great progress in my drawing and painting.
This, due to Tim's well documented craftsmanship as well as his talent for teaching, - he could see the intentions of my work, sometimes even before I knew myself – made every day/moment highly worthwhile.
Not to forget Tim's wife Suzie, who made us relax and feel comfortable, and above all/thus made it possible for our creativity to flourish."
